The certifications, explained

Licensed by FSSAI, made in a BRCGS- and ISO 9001:2015-certified facility, and compliant with Europe's strict pesticide-residue limits — the proof behind every pack.

FSSAIIndia's food-safety licence

FSSAI is India's national food-safety regulator, and a licence means the product is made and sold under India's food-safety law with a number anyone can look up. Two are published further down this page as issued — ours, which licenses us to distribute, store and sell, and Synthite's, which licenses the plant where the spice is made — each with a link to check it on the FSSAI portal yourself. It's the baseline of safety and traceability, and naming it is easy; publishing it is the point.

BRCGSA global, independently audited food-safety standard

Our spice is produced in a facility certified to BRCGS — a globally recognised, independently audited food-safety and quality standard, benchmarked by the Global Food Safety Initiative, that international retailers require of their suppliers. The same manufacturing discipline that lets a product be sold to the world's strictest buyers goes into the packet you cook from at home.

ISO 9001:2015Quality, made consistent

ISO 9001:2015 is the international standard for quality management systems. Certification means production runs on documented, audited processes with built-in checks and continuous improvement — which is what keeps quality consistent from the first pack to the millionth.

Euro-MRLThe European residue standard

Euro-MRL means the spice meets the European Union's Maximum Residue Levels for pesticides — among the strictest limits in the world. Rather than claim a vague "pure," we hold to a specific, checkable bar: residues within Europe's safe limits. It's our floor, not our ceiling.

Rooted & traceable

Clean grown and fully traceable — back to the fields. Each spice is grown, dried and ground where it does best, with a chain that traces to the field it came from.

The science, said carefully

We lead with what we can show: tested, traceable, certified within globally-accepted safe limits, clean-label. We don't chase "zero-input" or "chemical-free" claims we can't stand behind — the honest bar is residues within Europe's strict safe limits, and that is the bar we hold.

The standard, not the supplier

We're backed by a technologically serious manufacturer, which is how the standard holds from day one. But the promise anchors on the standard, not any one supplier: "made to export standard" travels with us as our sourcing grows.

The proof, on record

"Lab tested. Euro-MRL compliant. The report is on our website." We mean it literally. Two FSSAI licences are below as issued — ours to sell you the spice, and our manufacturer's to make it — each with the certificate itself and a link to check it on the government portal. Batch lab reports follow.
