Story Roots — Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of storyroots.co (the "Website"), operated by

Kuldhar Global Ventures LLP ("Story Roots", "we", "us", "our"), Office 1206, SS Omnia,

Sector-86, Gurugram, Haryana – 122004, India. By accessing or using the Website you agree to these

Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to place an order. If you are a minor, you may use the Website only

under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

3. The Website and its content

The Website and its content are provided for general information about our brand and products. We

may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Website at any time without notice. While we take

care to keep information accurate, we do not warrant that all content is complete, current or

error-free.

4. Product information, pricing and availability

  • Product images, descriptions and colours are indicative; actual packaging and appearance may vary.
  • Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR); MRP is inclusive of all applicable taxes. Prices are

current for the applicable batch, may be tentative and subject to change without notice, and

are subject to correction of errors.

  • Availability is not guaranteed; we may limit, withdraw or discontinue any product.
  • Authoritative product information (net weight, ingredients, allergens, certifications, dates,

storage) is that printed on the pack.

5. Ordering via WhatsApp

  • The Website does not provide on-site checkout or payment. Purchase enquiries are placed

through WhatsApp, using the contact link/number we provide.

  • Any order you send is an offer by you to purchase. A binding contract is formed **only when we

confirm/accept** your order. We may decline or cancel an order — for example, for unavailability, a

pricing or listing error, or suspected fraud or misuse — without liability beyond any refund of

amounts actually paid for that order.

  • Payment, delivery, cancellation and returns/refunds are arranged and communicated separately at

6. Food product & health disclaimer

  • Our products are food (spices), not medicines. They are **not intended to diagnose, treat, cure

or prevent any disease** and are not a substitute for professional medical or nutritional advice.

  • Any wellness, heritage or "traditional use" statements are general information only. Consult a

qualified professional for advice specific to you.

  • Always check the pack for allergen and ingredient information, storage guidance and the

"use by" date. Use products as intended.

  • References to certifications (e.g. FSSAI, BRCGS, ISO 9001:2015, Euro-MRL) describe standards met by

the product and/or manufacturer as stated on the pack; the pack and the underlying certificates are

the authoritative source.

7. Intellectual property

The Story Roots name, logo, packaging design, text, images and other Website content are owned by or

licensed to Kuldhar Global Ventures LLP and are protected by law. You are granted a limited,

personal, non-commercial licence to view the Website. You may not copy, reproduce, modify,

distribute or commercially exploit any content without our prior written permission.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Website unlawfully or fraudulently; scrape, harvest or systematically

extract data; introduce malware; interfere with the Website's operation or security; infringe our or

others' rights; or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with us.

9. Third-party links and services

The Website may link to or rely on third-party services (including WhatsApp/Meta). Your use of those

services is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content,

products or practices.

10. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Website, its content and product information

are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind (including

merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free

operation). Nothing in this section affects your non-excludable statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Our total aggregate liability — together with that of our affiliates, partners, officers and

employees — arising out of or in connection with the Website, its content, or products purchased

through enquiries made on it, for any and all claims taken together, shall **not exceed

INR 1,00,000 (Rupees One Lakh only)**, or the amount you actually paid for the relevant product,

whichever is lower.

  • We shall not be liable for any **indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or

exemplary** damages, or for loss of profits, data, business or goodwill.

  • Carve-out (important): nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be

limited or excluded under applicable law — including liability for death or personal injury

caused by our proven negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or a consumer's

rights and remedies under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and applicable food-safety law.

Where any limitation in these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining limitations continue to

apply to the maximum extent permitted.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Story Roots and its affiliates, partners, officers and

employees from claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable expenses arising out of your breach of

these Terms, your misuse of the Website, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13. Privacy

Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change, and continued use

of the Website means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing law and dispute resolution

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
  • In the event of any dispute, the parties will first attempt to resolve it amicably by contacting

our Grievance Officer (§16).

  • Subject to your non-derogable rights as a consumer (including the right to approach consumer

commissions under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019), the courts at Gurugram, Haryana shall

have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to the Website or these

Terms.

17. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full

force. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. These Terms are the entire agreement

between you and us regarding the Website. We may assign these Terms; you may not assign them without

our consent. Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond its reasonable

control (force majeure).
